Family-oriented, affordable yet high quality, lodge accommodation at Mount Hotham for those who are passionate about all kinds of mountain play.
Located at Mount Hotham, Asterix Lodge offers shared living/ private sleeping accommodation with the most spectacular views of the Victorian Alpine region. Set amongst the snow gums, Asterix Lodge offers an easy 5 min walk to the ‘Genny’ and Big D lift, numerous runs and the Hotham Village bus.
While we are a member lodge, we also provide accommodation to guests/ nonmembers when availability permits. Our lodge is known for its amazing views, hospitality and family friendly environment. Our lodge is suitable for both summer and winter use.

We have two different room types at Asterix Lodge, with all rooms having ensuites:
- Rooms 1-6 – have two double beds and two single bunk style beds and sleep 6 people in total; and
- Rooms 7-9 – have two double bed bunks and sleep 4 people.

Booking Terms & Conditions
- At Asterix Lodge we don’t allow room sharing across multiple bookings and you incur additional charges for any spare beds in your room. This additional charge is selected by you as the ‘spare’ rate.
- Guests under the age of 18 are charged as children. Children under the age of 2 stay free.
- Rooms can be selected at the time of booking, however the Booking Officer or Lodge Manager reserve the right to reallocate rooms where it benefits the club and may be be changed at anytime prior to the commencement of your booking, without notification.
- Room allocations will be confirmed on arrival at the lodge.
- Bookings made for weekends must book both Friday and Saturday nights.
- Midweek bookings must be a minimum of 2 nights.
- Guest bookings will be made using the Asterix Lodge Epidote booking site.
- Credit card payment surcharges are incorporate in the booking costs.

Check In and Check Out
Check in time is strictly 5:00 pm. No access to the lodge is available prior to this time. Guests are respectfully asked to check with the Manager before occupying their allocated bedroom.
Check out time is 2:00 pm on the day of departure.
Facilities
You’ll find Asterix Ski Lodge has everything you need to make your stay on Mount Hotham comfortable.
The lodge can sleep up to 48 people, and includes the following facilities:
- Spacious equipment and drying rooms, with room for snowboards, skis and clothing.
- 9 Bedrooms, each with private en-suite facilities – 6 large and 3 small bedrooms
- Fully equipped, state of the art communal kitchen.
- Separate and communal fridges and food storage.
- Large dining area with panoramic views of the mountain.
- Coffee and tea making facilities.
- Two generous living areas, equipped with wood-fire places (wood supplied).
- Laundry, with washing and drying facilities.
- Various equipment storage areas.
- Free Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the lodge via Starlink
- Onsite Lodge Manager present during Winter season – who will welcome you to the lodge and are more than happy to answer any of your questions. If you’re lucky they might even give you some tips on where to find the best runs on the mountain.
Rooms
Asterix Lodge has nine guest rooms, each room with alpine views, personal storage and ensuites. Rooms have bunk style bedding with two room sizes. Large rooms, sleep 6 and have two double and two single beds. Small rooms sleep 4 and have two double beds.
Rooms are provided with duvet and pillows for each bed. Guests should bring bedding (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers) and towels. Linen packs requested for an additional fee. Please speak with the booking manager or lodge manager prior to your stay.
