This is the most popular travel option chosen by our guests. There is no accommodation at the resort so a vehicle is required in any case to make the 20+ minute drive from your accommodation to the resort or back home. Selwyn one of the closest ski resort options for NSW’s major cities and a comfortable drive from almost anywhere else in the state. Drive safely and enjoy the beautiful and unique Snowy Mountains scenery.

It is advised that all 2WD vehicles carry properly fitting chains at all times on the Snowy Mountains Highway from June to September. These can be hired most service stations on your way to Selwyn Snowfields.

The Office of Environment & Heritage charge a fee for entering the Kosciusko National Park in which we reside, each vehicle is required to pay an entry fee of $29* per vehicle per day. Longer duration passes are available to attract a discount, the pay station is located 7km from Selwyn. For more information on National Park Entrance Fees head to environment.nsw.gov.au

Starting March 23rd 2016, Regional Express Airlines will commence year round flights direct from Sydney to Snowy Mountains Airport (10kms south of Cooma). Fares start from just $149 one way, conditions apply.
